This is an optional space for a page introduction. Instead of creating a new page from scratch, you can duplicate this template to a new page. To do so, go to the Publish section and select Copy to a new draft.

Heading 2

All pages should following a logical heading structure. In order to keep your pages accessible and optimized for search engines, you should also:

  • Use plain language and incorporate keywords that your students may search in Google.
  • Add alt text to all of your images.
  • Embed links in meaningful phrases and avoid phrases like "click here."
  • Link only to accessible documents, or convert PDFs to a Post or Page on your website.

Heading 3

Another important feature of your page is the SmartCrawl Pro plugin. This should be located on your page under the primary text section. You can edit this text to customize the text that appears when this page comes up in a Google search.

You can also add a Featured Image to the page (located on the right-hand side of the edit window). This will be the image that displays in search engines and if it he page is shared on social media. You can preview a preview of the published page using tools like metatags.io.


You can add a horizontal rule to your page.

Heading 3

This is a sample text area on a color background. You can change the background color on the right side of the row under Design > Background Color. You can make all text in the row appear white by adding "white-text" under Attributes > Widget Class. Make sure to check your color contrast before using colors other than UConn blue (#000e2f) and white.
