Grace McCann
Grace McCann is a dual degree MD-MPH student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, with plans to specialize in psychiatry. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a double major in Biology and Neuroscience & Behavior.
Grace is interested in research working to improve mental health care, particularly in the areas of crisis response and expanding the accessibility and availability of resources. She also has a passion for addiction psychiatry, and this inspired her to found and lead the Addiction Medicine Interest Group at UConn.
Grace is working as a Research Associate under Dr. Vaughn Crichlow at the Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy (IMRP). Her goal as a future physician is to blend social policy and public health with clinical practice to create more holistic and equitable care for her patients.
