Diane Cantello


Diane is a second-year UConn MSW student concentrating on Macro Policy and International Social Work who is currently supporting the International Justice Exchange initiative within the Institute of Municipal and Regional Policy.

Diane returned to full-time education after an impactful and successful 35-year corporate career in which she led Corporate Responsibility, Social Impact, Communications and Marketing functions for leading Fortune 500 organizations including Stanley Black & Decker, The Hartford and Cigna.

Diane has relished the opportunity to re-immerse herself in academia and policy practice in the pursuit of social justice and systemic change. Originally from England, Diane and her family have lived primarily in Connecticut for more than 25 years, punctuating that time with frequent visits back to the UK.
