Striving for a just society through education, collaboration, and action.
Policy for the Public Good
At the Institute, process matters. We don’t purport to have the answer to the complex challenges facing our world, but believe we can solve them together.
For over 20 years, our team of dedicated public servants has addressed social and community issues using unbiased, fact-based approaches to develop and implement fair and effective public policies. We bring together diverse stakeholders - including the public, elected officials, state agencies, educators, nonprofit providers, advocacy organizations, and impacted individuals - to drive positive change.
As a non-partisan organization, we take pride in being a respected and visible part of Connecticut, conducting ethical scientific research and transparently sharing our findings. We nurture a constant curiosity through events like conferences, forums, and training sessions to promote ongoing dialogue and collective growth.
