Ariana Azerrad Zevallos


Ariana Azerrad Zevallos is a student intern with the Connecticut Children with Incarcerated Parents Initiative (CTCIP) at the Institute for Municipal and Regional Policy. In her role, she supports the team by translating materials and contributing to CTCIP’s social media efforts.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Ariana graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and English. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in public policy at UConn Hartford. Ariana’s interests include education, health, and issues affecting children and families, and she hopes to build a career in these areas. In her free time, she enjoys reading (especially mystery and fantasy books) drawing, painting, and learning about different cultures and languages.
