Michael Cronin joined IMRP in February of 2025 as a Special Project Consultant working on criminal justice policy and prison reform.  In addition, he assists with the Institute’s responsibilities with the Connecticut Sentencing Commission, as well as its Pre-trial Working Group.  Mike is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and received his Juris Doctor from Western New England University.  He was legal counsel at the Connecticut Legislature for twenty years.  In addition, Mike was vice chairman of the Connecticut State Marshals Commission, served on the West Hartford of Assessment Appeals, as well as the Guardian Ad Litem Oversight Commission.
