Skylar Seabert

Skylar Seabert serves as the Justice David Borden Research and Policy Fellow with the Connecticut Sentencing Commission at the Institute of Municipal and Regional Policy (IMRP). She is in her third year at Quinnipiac University School of Law. She is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies.

Skylar is committed to criminal justice reform, and is motivated to deepen her knowledge of the intersection of criminal justice and policy research. Using her knowledge of the criminal justice system, Skylar has testified at the Connecticut legislature and meets with legislators to advance the justice system. In her free time, she also volunteers her legal knowledge to help individuals apply for pardons.
