Valerie Gordon is a former broadcast television producer whose portfolio includes feature stories showcased on CBS News, Weekend TODAY, HBO Sports, and ESPN. Transitioning from her award-winning media career, Valerie founded The Storytelling Strategist in 2017, a communications consultancy dedicated to crafting compelling narratives, enhancing branding efforts, and honing persuasive presentation skills for a diverse clientele.

She has spoken at regional and national conferences on the power of storytelling to foster career growth, connection with audiences, and interpersonal understanding. Through tailored workshops, she empowers corporate and non-profit leaders to leverage storytelling as a communication and team-building tool.

Valerie received a B.A. in Communications from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University. She supports the IMRP and all internal and external communication needs including website and social platform content, story spotlights, media relations, and specific video projects for key IMRP initiatives.
